Alpacas produce a fine cashmere like fleece, once reserved for Incan royalty.

Alpacas were first Imported into the United States in 1984. Alpacas are a rare and precious resource compared to the millions of sheep, cattle, and horses. Now there are enough Alpacas in North America to form the nucleus of an exciting industry.
